Description

Nothing but pure, organic, ground Spanish paprika (Capsicum annuum) that's oak-wood smoked. No GMOs. No ETO (considered carcinogenic by the EPA). Not irradiated. Certified Organic by QAI. Kosher Certified by KSA. Deep, rich color, enticing aroma, and award-winning smoky-sweet flavor with a touch of heat. Serious YUMM.

A paprika like this doesn’t just happen. We searched unsuccessfully for more than three years for a real, organic smoked paprika, then gave up and developed our own. Our peppers grow in the fertile valleys of the Murcia region of southeastern Spain. Once harvested, filtered smoke from real oak wood is flowed over the peppers — a process that can take 48 to 72 hours to get to WOW! — then the peppers are stone ground, yielding a paprika with the deep, complex flavor and enticing aroma that in 2018 won us Cook’s Illustrated’s top recommendation over other brands. In fact, it was their “favorite product in every tasting.”

Organic Paprika

Recommended Use

Smoked paprika is the brainchild of Hungarian cuisine, but we think you’ll dig it in egg, bean and potato dishes, and all your favorite roasted and grilled meats. Smoked paprika’s true color and flavor come alive when heated. But it burns easily and becomes bitter once browned, so be gentle.
